My fin movments sped up and we shot through the water. A few seconds later, We flew out of the water. As soon as we were in the air, I morphed my fin into legs and pulled out my wings, flapping as hard as I could, immidietly gaining altitude and fleeing.

Kato held his arms out to his sides and flapped them, pretending to be flapping wings. "I've never really flown before without being thrown and there being something really hard I land on!" he said happily.

I blinked, realizing the water would have short circuted the earpiece. I took it out and tossed it, knowing I was dead meat anyway. "Well I guess you're happy now that you have a bird friend?"

Kato nodded, still flapping his arms. The boy was still unconscious, but he was starting to stir, a sign that he would wake up soon.

I smiled and held the boy close in a hug. I was being comforting.

The boy squeezed his eyes shut. When he opened them half way, he realized he was being hugged. His face turned slightly red. "Uh...Am I on a prisoner transport again or something?" he asked. He put his hand on his head. "Ow...my head hurts..." He mumbled.
Kato sighed. "They said they loaded him with tranquilizers. I remember being hit with one of those. It hurt my head for a while." he said.

I giggled. "You're in a prison rescue. Origonally I was hired to capture you but my real plan is to bring you to safety. You may call me Rika for now."

"Rika?" The boy asked. He smiled. "I'm Shouta." He said.
Kato snickered a little. "You know, you two look kind of cute together!" He said sarcastically, noticing the hug.

I gained a bored expression and tilted slightly. "Oops!" I said with a smirk.

Kato, who's reflexes were better than a human's, grabbed ahold of her tightly to avoid falling. "Aah! Don't do that! I was only kidding!" He said, a scared look now on his face.
Shouta noticed him, a confused look on his face. "Who's that?" he asked.

"I was joking." I ssaid then looked at shouta. "This is my companion and friend, kato."

Shouta smiled. "It's nice to meet you both." He said. He put his hand on his head. "Still a little tired, though..." He mumbled.
Kato was trembling from almost falling. "The effects of the tranquilizers must just be wearing off now..." He said.

I slowly descended into the Grasslands to camp.
