The grasslands were quiet. It seemed like nothing could disturb the peace. The only actual noise was the steady chirping of crickets on the small bushes scattered about.

I landed lightly in the grass, gently folding in my wings.

Kato kind of rolled off of her, falling on his back on the ground. "Land! Oh, sweet land!" he shouted dramatically.
Shouta smiled at that. "Is he always like this?" he asked, not knowing that she had only met Kato earlier that day. He was still in the position that Crystal had carried him there in: A hug.

I set him down. "That's the first time he's flown with me so I dunno."

Shouta had a confused look, managing to stand without his knees buckling. "The first time? You mean, you don't fly that often?" he asked.
Kato looked up at them. He didn't say anything. He was listening to their conversation.

"When I must. Origonally I was hired to capture you but I'm an under cover. I save those who are hunted." I said smiling sweetly.

Shouta smiled. "Thanks. I didn't like it at that lab place, and they would do mean things to me whenever I tried to escape." He said. He tilted his head. "But who would hire you to capture me?" He asked.

Kato's attention was suddenly drawn away. He was chasing a small, yellow butterfly.

"A man named ryooshi. I double crossed him and I know I'm dead meat." I said with a goofy grin. Glacing at kato, I giggled a bit. "How cute!"

Shouta smiled. "He's kind of wierd, isn't he?" He asked.

Kato was starting to go towards the edge of a forest. The butterfly seemed to be leading him there.

"Yep" I walked over and picked him up around the middle. "You do know where you were going right?"

Kato looked at her. "Of course. I know this forest. It was where I was born." He said.
Shouta smiled, thinking Kato was cute.

"The Butterfly is leading you there.... That could be bad..." I said stubbornly

He tilted his head. "Bad? How?" he asked.

Shouta smiled, but looked around. It was getting little colder around him. There was a very mysterious and unsettling fog forming around the area.

"Heh. Thanks for finding the kid for me." Ryooshi's voice echoed through the clearing.

As soon as the echoey voice faded, a dark spot appeared under Shouta. Ryooshi came up out of the dark spot, pressing the pressure point on the boy's neck, knocking him out. Shouta fell forward. Ryooshi caught him and slung him over his shoulder. He smirked at Crystal. "I should kill you for double-crossing me, but as you brought the boy to me, I guess I can forgive you. Now, your reward." He said. The $5,000,000 he had promised appeared in a suitcase in front of her. "I thank you again. Now, I must take my leave." He said, sinking into the dark spot on the ground. When he and Shouta were completely gone, the spot vanished.

"Oh...that's what you meant by bad..." Kato said.

My eyes widened. "No!" I put kato on my back and teleported after him.
