The sky tournament

Cort was so board not knowing what to do. She then looked at a sign near where she lived while she was just going for a walk.

Tournament held in the sky! Land creatures have to take the stairs bilt on the ground. 1-1 matches only. All races from any kind are welcome.

rules:
1. No fighting dirty.
2. Banned from tournament if you kill.
3. Everyone will be assined to a spot.
4. Rooms are free!
5. Food will cost you though.

The reword is huge! For the first place fighter!

The sign said. Cort tilted her head a bit. She looked at the date of the tournament...

"only two more days?... ok." Cort said to herself and flew to it. "I wonder if they got shrimp" she then thought to herself.

Sapphire noticed the sign as well as she was walking up to visit Cort. She stared at it for a second. "Tournament? Nice! I can practice fighting up there!" She said, flying up the stairs after Cort.

Cort looked behind her shoulder to see Sapphire and stoped.

Sapphire flew up to her. "You see the sign, too?" She asked.

"Of course I did. I guess you are joining too? hope you don't run into your fears on it. Reason I came is because I'm bored and I want to try out their food." Cort said then smiled. "I'm also wondering about the reword... maybe it's a trip to a secret romanic place. I could bring... him" Cort sighed in a loving way then shook her head. "er... forget what I said ok. If you win tell me what the reword is."

Sapphire nodded. "I just hope I can get past my fears if there are any vampires there." She said. She giggled a little. "And I'm sure you'll be able to win if you try hard enough." She said.

Cort yawned and streatched. "I'll give it a shot." She said.

Sapphire giggled a little. "Well, good luck. I'll bet we might be fighting each other in a match or something." She said.

Sapphire turned back towards the top of the stairs. "How high are these stairs anyway?" She asked.

"I don't know... these are about fifty feet high I guess. Poor nonflyers... well I guess it would take a real warrior to get up these steps. As for me I'm too lazy to do so." Cort said and sighed.

Sapphire nodded, pulling in her wings. "I've been able to fly this far. I want to see if I can get up there by walking the rest of the way." She said.

"alright whatever." Cort said and flew up. While Saphhire was walking up a creature with one leg was hopping up the stairs. It was blue and had teeth sticking out, one eye, and feather on its head with very small wings for arms. When it caught up to Sapphire he randomly stuck out a long toung and licked her. Then he contenued to go up.

Sapphire stared, raising her eyebrow. "Wow, that was wierd..." She said, stopping only for a moment before continuing her walk up the stairs.

A blind guy with a sword also passed her with a floating eye. More came up too... and one was a specail vampire that could go out in daylight.
