She sighed, continuing to walk next to him. "It's fun to chat while you're walking, though. For me, it makes me feel like I'm not alone..." She said, looking down. Her ears drooped.

Sapphire tilted her head a little. Her ears were still drooped, though. "Has anything really, really bad ever happened to you?" She asked.

She looked down, her ears drooped. "Well...you're lucky. I spent the first four years of my life in a genetics lab, where I got my wings, and the next ten years enslaved by an abusive maniac." She said, tears starting to form in her eyes from the horrible memories. She looked up at him. "I'm jealous of you! That's all that really happened to you?" She asked.

He scratched the back of his head... "well when I was a kid my parents abanded me, but I don't think I care about that at all. Why the sad crazy stuff anyway?" he said and then smirked. "How about a hug dear? I promise I will not get TOO close to your neck while doing so." He then foursefuly pulled her into a hug. "I hate it when wemon cry don't do that."
